Starting at 4pm on Sat June 27th at Scott Hassevoorts house and all of the BEVRA racers are welcome along with their families for an afternoon and evening of good times and socializing with your fellow racers Scott will be covering the costs of the food and Damon will handle the roasting all you have to bring are your own refreshments of choice and come out and have a good time. Dinner will start around 6 PM or so, Scott also wants you to bring your swimsuits and enjoy the use of thier PWC's and just plain have a good time on the lake.

The 2009 Bevra season banquet was a rousing success, thanks to many, many donaters of gifts and the gracious hosting and excellent food from McKenna's Village Restaurant.
Bevra celebrated the champions for the 2009 season, along with awarding our annual special awards winners as picked by the Board of Directors. Our special award winners for 2009.

BEVRA Season Ending Banquet.
The BEVRA bash will be held May 9th 2009 at McKenna's Village Restuarant in Lakeview.
Festivities will kick off at 4 pm with the awards cermony to follow after dinner. More details coming, but it for sure promises to be great time.

What a great day!!!! Round 4
An incredable day of vintage snowmobile ice racing took place Saturday 2/28/09 on Tamarack Lake in Lakeview. Thanks to Mother Nature, Bevra racers had the opportunity to race in almost perfect conditions, and compete they did. So many great battles took place on the track as the season points races came to a close, that it was sad to see the day come to an end.
Bevra is blessed with so many talented racers and awesome volunteers and tremondous sponsors. It's hard to watch the season coming to a close, seems like we should do this every week.
There are many volunteers that give of their free time to make our races possible. I'l like to take just moment to thank on the front page of our site. Mega thank you's to all of our volunteers.

Round 3 The winter blast continues!
Thanks to a ton of hard work by Bevra racers Rich and Nick Challender, Tony Petriella, Jeremy Camp, Jason Noteboom and Greg McKenna, Bevra pulled off another exciting round of vintage snowmobile sprint racing. The track was a bit on the small side but provided plenty of thrills and yes a couple of spills, but the action was top notch! Round 2 Rocks Lakeview!!!
A beautiful clear and cold day welcomed Bevra's best as 69 entries took the green flag for day of high speed thrills, chills, and even a couple of spills to keep things lively. Round 2 also marked the 1st round of the Bevra Triple Crown, won by Todd Krikke of Hudsonville Michigan on a 1978 Yamaha SRX who lead from flag to flag. Kevin Flannery ran a strong 2nd on his Polaris and Aaron Giles battled his way to 3rd. Should be a great round 2 of Triple Crown.

Fire em up boys!! The Bevra series hits Tamarack Lake in Lakeview for Round 2 of Bevra vintage oval sprint season. We'll be offering the full slate of sprint classes along with Round 1 of the Bevra Triple Crown, a 3 race series of 25 lap enduros held at the end of each event, featurin the leaf sprung SuperStock C sleds with an allowance for 500cc single piped liquids to compete as well so the El Tigre 6000 and Centurian 500 can compete as well.

Are you ready to RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Due to Mother Nature being kind, we on the BEVRA board of directors have decided to go forego the test and tune scheduled and instead, go racing on Jan 17th. We will be running a regular event on the 17th with a full compliment of classes, then on the 24th of January, we will be starting the BEVRA Triple Crown which is a 3 race series of 25 lap enduros with a cash and prizes as reward for winning the title.
Hopefully everyone is ready to race along with Mother Nature this year!!

Important Race Update!!! 1/8/09
The 2009 Bevra season series races will be held on Tamarack Lake in Lakeview Michigan. Thanks to hard work and co-operation by Greg McKenna and the Lakeview City Council, we will be racing once again on a big 3/8 mile oval so our mod sleds can stretch their legs and we can save the racers money by not having to pay a gate fee just to race.
The race track will be on the west end of the lake directly behind McKenna's restaurant. We have good parking, and nice warm place to do our trophy presentations after the days events are over. We believe this is in the best interest of our racers to return to Lakeview.

Formed in 2003, BEVRA is a non-profit group of vintage snowmobile racers promoting safe and family orientated oval racing of vintage snowmobiles. Formed by racers of varying backgrounds which include; Ice Ovals, Drag Racing, and Sno-Cross, each board member has contributed their personal knowledge and talents to help create what we feel is the best vintage racing circuit in Michigan, with the most complete and fair rules, BEVRA will continue to strive to fulfill the racers need for a safe and fun filled yet highly competitive racing experiance.
